If you use the wrong code or forget to include one, then your profitability will decrease. Have a system in place that some charges don’t fall through the cracks. Medical offices should use charge capture systems to make sure you are being reimbursed for the services you render.

4. Hire the Ideal Team

Most companies need more than one person to succeed. As your sales grow, additional staff will be required. If you have a restaurant, hand-pick each of your team members. Make sure to hire the right personality types. Your greeter should be outgoing and friendly. Your chef needs to be organized and a natural leader. Your servers need to be able to handle stressful situations with a smile. Everyone needs to be nice and honest!

5. Market Your Business

One of the best marketing tools today is social media. You can easily and affordably get the word out. However, word-of-mouth is even more effective. Have a grand opening and invite the influencers from your community. If you are opening a new insurance agency, have some of your best clients invite their family and friends to come and meet you. A happy customer and great reviews go a long way to building your company.
